Remembrance of Comrade Tufail Abbas

Tufail Abbas, one of the first leaders of the Communist Party of Pakistan, and founder of the erstwhile Orient Airways Employees Union passed away. In remembrance of Comrade Tufail Abbas, Trade Union and Communist revolutionary leader, a remembrance program was held in Arts Council, organized by the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi and Pakistan Mazdoor Mahaz on 11th October 2019.

Fictional stories “Aks-e-Awaz

Syed Noor Zaheer Rehbar’s book “Aks-e-Awaz” was launched at the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi. The writer currently lives in Germany and has been known for his exceptional columns, stories and fiction novels. This book is also a combination of his fictional stories. And it is a very interesting read.

Theater play “Court Martial”

“COURT MARTIAL” is a play written by Swadesh Deepak, which questions the decision-making between right and wrong. The story revolves around the recruit “Ram Chander” who belongs to low caste is tried for murdering one of his officers Major Verma and injuring another Major Kapoor. It was a serious play where the actors were the students of Arts Council Theatre Academy trimester students.

‘Salam Ustad’ on World Teachers’ Day

34th Urdu Haiku Mushaira “Hamara Dostana”
