I didn’t say to my parents that I want to be an actor, I also went through the same period that you guys went through, because of Turkish dramas, today’s young and younger people want to be actors, in this field.
There are some people who didn’t go to school but learned a lot after getting into acting, they said I’m an actor who learned this profession as a teacher and student. Fawad Khan said, “When I joined the acting school, it was the first school that offered a three-year course. When I told people, they laughed that you are actually studying acting. This is the idea that one should learn.”
Now, the situation has improved a lot, after spending so many years in the theater industry, I now feel that I have succeeded to some extent in achieving what I wanted. Bakhtawar Mazhar said while talking , we spend four to five years learning the same work, we didn’t have acting schools, if universities start acting courses, four to five years of hard work is required. “We don’t have the first acting school. I hope universities teach acting as a degree course.”
