Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi District Central in collaboration with Human Rights Welfare Coordination organized program “Salaam Shuhada e Pakistan” on the occasion of Pakistan Defence Day.
In which Town Nazim Muhammad Yousuf, Resident Director Bashir Sadozai, Human Rights General Secretary Saba sheikh, UC Chairman Dr. Khalid Mehmood and others expressed their views, while children from different schools including famous singers and artists performed tableau and National songs. Town Nazim Muhammad Yousuf said that Pakistan is an ideological country and ideologies do not end, no matter how many conspiracies the enemy does, it cannot harm Pakistan. He said that despite our internal problems, the entire nation is standing with its forces for the defense of Pakistan like in 1965. Resident Director Bashir Sadozai said that in 1965, our enemy made an unannounced attack, he thought that his numerical superiority would give him success, but his arrogance and pride were destroyed by our brave men. We salute our martyrs. Addressing the students, he said that after the worst defeat, the enemy started creating cracks in us. In 1971, when we were divided internally, the enemy prevailed. He said that today again our worst enemy has started hybrid war and 6000 media channels around the world are full of propaganda against Pakistan in every language of the world. Today, some of our scholars have divided the nation on the basis of Masalik and some politicians on the basis of language and region. In this self-centered era, Muhammad Ahmad Shah has taken the movement of patriotism in the country and is trying to leave all the units, all the cultures and the language of the country. Today’s program was also organized to remind the youth that your enemy is cunning and sneaky and beware of him. Saba Sheikh said that the Arts Council has always taken the initiative on national issues.
