PAO is holding the Annual International Orthodontics conference on 19th and 20th of December.

Today, the conference had its first day at Arts Council of Pakistan’s Auditorium I. The conference had both national and international speakers like Dr. Ambreen Afzal Ahsan, Dr. Kathiravan Purmal, Dr. Rashna Sukhia, Dr. Irfan Qamaruddin, Dr. Sohrab Shaheed and the renowned Dr. Ravindra Nanda to name a few.
This conference is being organized under the leadership of the PAO executive council 2021-2022, with Prof. Dr. Syed Shah Faisal as its President. Vice President Prof. Dr. Hasnain Sakrani, General Secretary Prof. Dr. Rozina Nazir and Dr. Erum Behroze as its Finance Secretary.

The conference is being organized under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ambreen Afzal Ahsan and Professor Waheed-ul-Hameed.
The event was moderated by Orthodontics professors like Prof. Dr. Ghulam Rasool and Prof. Dr. Mubassar Fida. The conference also welcomed the Chief Guests, Honorable Vice Chancellor DUHS, Prof. Dr. Saeed Quraishi as well as, Honorable Vice Chancellor Jinnah Sindh Medical University, Prof. Dr. Amjad Siraj Memon.
The Conference also included a trade exhibition where all the leading dental businesses displayed their products.
While talking about the orthodontic conference, President of Pakistan Association of Orthodontist Dr. Shah Faisal said that the purpose of organizing this conference was to gather the experts and new dentists under one roof so that they can benefit from each other’s experience and enthusiasm respectively. Prof. Dr. Nargis Anjum said that organizing this conference will help the young generation to move forward, such a conference should be held so that students can get awareness, I congratulate them for organizing such a wonderful conference in a very short time. Dr. Altamash said that I feel very good to come here, such a conference raises awareness. Prof. Dr. Ambreen Afzal Ahsan said that I congratulate all the participants who came to the orthodontic conference.
In the conference, Prof. Dr. Nargis Anjum, Prof. Dr. Syed Shah Faisal, Dr. Mohammad Altamash, Prof. Dr. Arshad Malik, Prof. Dr. Hasnain Sakrani, Dr. Rozina Nazir, Dr. Iram Behroze, Prof. Dr. Ambreen Ahsan, Dr. Imtiaz were honored with awards for their excellent services to the community.
