For the better use of Faizi Rahmeen, there is no other organization better than the Arts Council, which can use it for its original purpose. They will decide after fulfilling the legal requirements. Addressing the conference as the chief guest, he said that the president and officials of the Arts Council deserve congratulations for organizing this world’s biggest international Urdu conference in Sindh. He said that the message of love and peace always goes from our province. The assembly of this province had passed the resolution of Pakistan and the message of love is spread throughout Pakistan from here. Syed Murad Ali Shah said that in 15 years, some things were done for the development of the province which were not done in other provinces. The People’s Party is also patronizing the Arts Council in making it the culture center of Pakistan. He said that the people of this province are very loving and the message of love has always gone from here to the whole country. President of Arts Council of Pakistan Ahmed Shah said that people from all over the subcontinent came and settled in this city, Pakistan had a goal of peace and tranquility in an enlightened society. He said that neither atomic bomb nor any weapon is greater than culture. The upcoming Pakistan Literature Festival will be held in Gwadar, Lahore, Islamabad, Muzaffarabad, Peshawar, Gilgit-Baltistan, USA, Canada and other countries as well. He said that this province leads the country in terms of culture. The Art Council of Pakistan Karachi has built a cultural center in District Central with the support of the Sindh government. Famous humorist Anwar Maqsood said that Ahmad Shah has been in this building for a long time. Session “Iqbal aur Qaum”

A Session “Iqbal aur Qaum” was held at 15th Aalmi urdu conference organized by arts council of Pakistan of Karachi. Presiding over second session, Justice (retd) Nasira Iqbal said that we have to return to the theory that Iqbal gave us as a nation. Unfortunately, we have forgotten the lesson taught by Iqbal and our independence has become doubtful. In this session, Tehseen Faraqi, Noman ul Haque and Sohail Umar also spoke and expressed their views on the subject of Iqbal and the nation. Justice (retd) Nasira Iqbal said that we all should play our part to deal with the worst situation our nation is currently facing due to floods. Ahmed Shah and all the members of the governing body of the Arts Council deserve congratulations for organizing the 15th Aalmi Urdu Conference in the best possible manner and promoting academic and literary activities in the city of Karachi. Tehseen Faraqi said that Iqbal was a divine gift to the world and his grace continues even today. Iqbal’s speech contains universal truths. From his first collection to Armaghan Hijaz, there is only one message and that message is self-righteousness. He said that the fundamental role in the development and evolution of the nation is the elements of destiny and planning. Iqbal had this consciousness from the beginning and all his poetry seems to interpret this message. Our tragedy is that two-thirds of Iqbal’s words are in Persian language and we do not know Persian. This is a big obstacle in deriving the philosophy of life from Iqbal’s words, we have done a great cultural loss by forgetting Persian Language. If we had understood Iqbal’s philosophy ourself and made it our motto, then it would never have been possible that our nation would have gone around the world carrying a kashkul and making fun of it. Sohail Umar said that Iqbal had the pain of his nation and he wanted to improve its political, social, moral and economic conditions. He has explained the dimensions of his relationship with the nation through his poems. Iqbal’s philosophy of life is of extraordinary importance for human beings. Realizing the dangerous situation facing Islamic civilization in the era of Western colonialism, he taught his people to adopt self-reliance and prevent them from blind imitation, which was a serious challenge. Only a great poet like Iqbal could compete. Iqbal’s words will always remain eternal because their meaning is not only for today and tomorrow but for forever. Noman-ul-Haq said that unfortunately our nation is moving away from Iqbal even though his words and message are the most precious capital of human civilization and culture. He said that it is impossible to distill a systematic philosophical system from Iqbal’s poetry because there is diversity in it. Iqbal’s beautiful expression of the connection between the nation and the individual cannot be found anywhere else

Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi’s 15th annual Aalmi Urdu Conference, which is the biggest festival of Urdu literature, was inaugurated by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in Auditorium I. on Thursday evening. On this occasion, Provincial Minister of Culture & Education Syed Sardar Ali Shah was specially present while Zahra Naigh, Asad Mohammad Khan, Anwar Maqsood, Iftikhar Arif, Kishwar Naheed, Amjad Islam Amjad, Pirzada Qasim Raza Siddiqui, Commissioner Karachi Muhammad Iqbal Memon, Razi Ahmed, Ashfaq Hussain, Rauf Parekh, Manoor Saeed, Noorul Huda Shah, Yousuf Khushk, Alex Belam, Nasir Abbas Nayar were present in the presiding council. while the Urdu conference was celebrated with the participation of a large number of well-wishers of Urdu. On this occasion, a book exhibition and a food stalls were also installed in the premises of the Art Council. The first Aalmi Urdu conference was held in 2008, after that this conference is being held continuously and it is progressing gradually. While hundreds of intellectuals, writers, poets and foreign delegates are participating in this conference, there will be a total of 46 sessions in this conference.
