Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi and Burushaski Research Academy organized a grand ceremony in connection with the 145th birth anniversary of His Highness Sultan Muhammad Shah Agha Khan 3rd at Auditorium II. Among the speakers, Chief Guest Commissioner Karachi Mohammad Iqbal Memon, Secretary Arts Council Ejaz Farooqui, Lecturer Pakistan Studies, Urdu University, Syed Minhaj Mousavi, Director Clinical Science Division Hamdard Laboratories Dr. Hanan (Alig), Chairperson Department of Urdu, University of Karachi Dr. Uzma Farman, Advisor Burushaski. Research Academy Shahnaz Hanzai, Mushir Burushaski Research Academy and Assistant Professor Aga Khan Dr. Rubina Barolia and Fida-e-muk were also present on the occasion, the Ismaili community also participated in large numbers.




Commissioner Karachi Muhammad Iqbal Memon said that His Highness Sultan Muhammad Shah understood the importance of education from the first day. Gave awareness not only for male but also for female education, apart from rendering great services for the prosperity of the Indian subcontinent, he also played an important role in world politics and advocated the rights of the Muslims of the subcontinent at a high level. His Highness Sultan is the first imam who has dedicated all his resources for the welfare of the community and a leader is one who thinks ahead, Arts Council Secretary Ejaz Farooqui said that His Highness Sultan Muhammad Shah He has rendered unparalleled services for the education and development of Ummah, he has done a great favor to Pakistan, he said that such events should be organized so that people can get awareness about their struggle. We should pray for such personalities. Syed Minhaj Mousavi said that His Highness Sultan Muhammad Shah was the leader of the first page and a tall figure. We can see the influence of his personality in the subcontinent of Pakistan. He entertained himself. Fidae-emuk said that the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi is a leading institution which is in the forefront for the promotion of knowledge and literature. A bouquet was presented along with traditional gifts and a cake was also cut. In the end, Daoodi Band gave an excellent performance on regional tunes.
