Arts Council to host Art Exhibition to help flood victims

Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi announced to hold an art exhibition featuring the works of painters and sculptors from all over Pakistan to help flood victims.

The proceeds from the sale of the artworks will be deposited in the flood relief fund, said Arts Council President Muhammad Ahmad Shah

Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi organized a press conference to help flood victims in Haseena Moin Hall in which President Arts Council Muhammad Ahmad Shah, Vice President Munawar Saeed, Secretary Arts Council Ijaz Ahmad Farooqui, Principal ACIAC Shahid Painter and artist Muhammad Zeeshan gave a briefing. On this occasion, the president of Arts Council Muhammad Ahmed Shah said that there is a terrible situation of floods in Pakistan. Even when there was an earthquake in Sindh in 2005, Arts Council played its full role.

This flood is more terrible than the past. Two crore rupees were immediately given by the Arts Council Karachi to the flood relief fund. Trucks are being filled with rations  are being sent to different areas of Sindh. He said that we are distributing the ration in different areas of Sindh in a respectful manner. For the rehabilitation of the victims in the future. the Arts Council will also work, in this regard, a unique art exhibition is going to be held at the Arts Council  on 30th September In which renowned sculptors and painters from across Pakistan have donated their creations, the exhibition also includes works by Sadiquain. Various singers including renowned singers Asim Azhar, Aima Baig, Young Stunner, Natasha Baig will perform the concert. The concert will be held at Karachi Gymkhana. I am grateful to Karachi Gymkhana for giving Free of Cast its venue, he said that the commissioner Karachi  is also in touch with us and law enforcement agencies also to make security foolproof, ACIAC principal Shahid Rasam said the exhibition is also very important because it has been propagated for artists to be heartless  people while History is a witness that there is any calamity artists contribute their best, artists have given artworks from their personal collection which never happens, artists from different cities across Pakistan are sending their masterpieces, different people. doing different works, this is going to be a unique exhibition, Ahmad Pervez Art Gallery will see in a new way, we will play our role Painter Muhammad Zeeshan said that being an artist I feel what we are doing in return, we all become a society together, what we are giving to the society , the proceeds from the exhibition will go to flood relief, I am glad to be a part of this cause. Art and sculpture exhibition will be held at Ahmed Pervaz Art gallery at 5 pm
