Dr. S.M. Moin Qureshi Ex-Director Sindh Social Security who has been an Honorary Professor at the Department of Mass Communication University of Karachi began his literary odyssey in 1953. Ever since his articles are being carried by eminent local and foreign journals. He is one of the few authors of Pakistan who write both in Urdu and English with equal ease and eloquence on serious as well as light topics.
Arts Council Karachi hosted the launching ceremony of the Dr. S.M. Moin Qureshi’s 26th book titled by “Yoon Nahi Yoon – aur kuch deegar” which contain the research on poetry and ‘lyrics’ (Ishaar). Qureshi said people misread poetry and do not correct it, this is my eight years of hard work in which original poetry was discovered from archives. This book contains all the authentic references that I have searched for and presented to you the ceremony of held on 25th of July 2019 at Manzar Akbar Hall, Arts Council Karachi. People from different walks of life participated in the event۔ The event was graced by General (r) Moin Uddin Haider (Former Governor of Sindh) as chief guest.
