The closing ceremony of the 10th Karachi Youth Festival 2017-18 was held today at Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi. President of Arts Council Mohammad Ahmed Shah addressed the crowd. He thanked the attendees, the participating institutions and everyone involved who made this festival the most successful. He also thanked the Minister of Culture Syed Sardar Ali Shah, who was the Chief Guest of the occasion, for his constant support and encouragement that he has shown towards Arts Council. Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah congratulated to president Arts Council Mr. Muhammad Ahmed Shah and his team team for the success of the festival.

The participants of the festival included aspiring singers, artists, photographers, public speakers and writers. They were the youth of Karachi, formerly hidden behind unseen curtains, unsung and uncanvassed. On Saturday, however, they were celebrated and bestowed with rewards for their talents.

The competitions categories were;

Singing, Theater, Dance, Painting, Quiz, Photography, Short Film, Declamation (Urdu,English & Sindhi), Essay Writing (Urdu,English & Sindhi).
