The last day of international Urdu conference stated with the session on “An analyses in Urdu Journalism” at arts Council of Pakistan. The session was chaired by Shamim Hanfi from India, Qazi Afzal Hussain and Anwar Ahmed where Qazi Afzal Hussain, Ali Ahmed Fatmi, Najeba Arif, Sarwar Javed and Shadab Ahsani reads their articles and Faheem Shanas Kazmi hosted the session. 

Literature is not personal opinion or beliefs it is the actual reflection of society how people think and believe and the experience of people. Civilization cannot move in one direction but it has many dimension like the light of sun it is a complex concept. We are living at a small point in universe and we have been divided it into further sectors like religion, beliefs, cultures, philosophies and literature. We usually opt to write what we believe and ignore the opposition. Said by Shamim Hanfi renowned writer from India. He further included that Urdu criticism is not much adopted it is borrowed from the west unfortunately we have a few such writers who are also critic in real terms. A critic must be a creator and if he has lack of creativity he is not a critic. 

Qazi Afzal Hussain said that we don’t know the actual meaning of word that a writer said, people take it in their own prospective. If a poet says or write something people explain it in the way they feel. We are the consumer of theories and terminologies. Language play a waste role in the society, evaluation and changing is something planned not accidental. Prof Anwar Ahmed said that criticism is important for the health of literature if someone asks me whether creativity is important or critic I’ll prefer criticism on creativity. He further added west is producing literature and knowledge and we are consuming that. There is lot of work being done in the every filed of life in west and researches are conducted while we are not doing anything. Democracy is not only surrounded society, it also surrounded language and impact on it. We should speak and communicate in soft and understandable language. 

Dr. Ali Ahmed Fatmi said we can see a wide range of criticism in the books of Mumtaz Mufti and Sajjad Zaheer, criticism shod be with truth. Progressive criticism develop a new relation between discussion and criticism. New literature and civilization always need criticism it bridge the bridges between gaps. Najeeba Arif Said the issue of civilization is only bound to any ethnic group or society it is the issue of every individual. Civilization is a collective theory of social norms and ethics. We cannot direct the direction of civilizations. Sarver Javed Said when criticism demise, literature also demise. Progressive literature is demising and progressive criticism is also demising.

The second session of the last day of international urdu conference was dedicated to the writers who have been passed away in the recent years these included NayerMassod, Khaliq Anjum, Ibrahim Joyo, Shan al HaqHaqi, Nida Fazli, TasadaqSohailFarukh Bukhari and Masood Ahmed Barkati. The narrators were Shamim Hanfi, Qazi Afzal Hussain, Syed Mazhar Jamil, JazabQurashi, Pirzada Salman, Dr Jamal Naqvi, Prof Mujeeb Anwar Hameediand Arfan Siddiqui. 

ShamimHanfi said that Nayeer Masood was a great personality, when I was student I met his father and latter with him.  QaziIfzal Hussain said Khaliq Anjum has a rebellion mind, he struggled through his life for Urdu language one of his most beautiful work was collecting and publishing the latter’s of Mirza Galib, He traveled the way Galib Traveled. He wrote more than 65 books and managed contact with hundreds of writers around the globe.

MazharJammel speaks on the work on famous Sindhi language writer and scholar Ibrahim Joyo. Ibrahim Joyo was a critic, researcher, historian and translator. He said that Ibrahim Joyo paved the way of Sindhi language and all the writers that write in sandhi language followed him in the language. He believes on the writing in the mother language. He never own an inch of land or buy any house in his last days he lives in a servant quarters and never owe a car or bike he like to walk more.

JazaibQurashi Said that Shan ulHaqHaqi was a great poet and lexicographer. He had a great grip on Urdu language and he wished to bring and use word from all the languages in the urdu language so that the Urdu language can be acceptable for everyone. He also translated different languages poetry into Urdu language, he writes short stories, poetry and comic essays.

Meanwhile pirzada Salman speak on Nida Fazli and ArfanJaved on TasadaqSohail. Dr. Jamal Naqvi on Farukh Bukhari and Prof majeebanwarHameedi on Masood Ahmed Barkati.

We failed to implement the wisdom of Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Said by Senator Raza Rubani in his speech at arts council of Pakistan. He was addressing to the third session of fifth day and last day of international urdu conference where a session on “Pakistan of Quaid e Azam”. The session also attended by Javed Jabar, Ghazi Sallah Ud Din, Jahfar Ahmed and Haris Khaliq where Huma Baqai hosted the session. 

Raza Rubani said we have been failed to attempt the ideology of quaid e azam at Pakistan. His Pakistan was a progressive in all the fields of life. He said that we indulged in history and our dialogue end on the history without any conclusion, we stop resistance and chose the way of explainers we have to struggle and resist against any threat that can undertake us and we have to face everything without the fear of being called a missing person. We used religion to gain political agendas where the wisdom of Muhammad Ali Jinnah was not a theocratic state. We have been removed the transparency of Government.

Ghazi Sallah Ud Din said if you w

ant to check the today’s Pakistan you have to visit the City thana, City court and civil hospital, it was not our Pakistan. Today we cannot say what the belief of Muhammad Ali Jinnah was. He want Pakistan as a secular progressive state where everyone have freedom to live as an equal citizens. Javed Jabbar Said we will have to fill the colors in the sketch of Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s Pakistan, unfortunately we have been failed. Haris Khaliq Said that Quaid E Azam had said no one can undo Pakistan but it is a half quote instead he said No one can undo Pakistan till we follow the rules of Law and believe on unity, faith and strength.

Dr. Javed Jabbar presented an evaluation before the audience. He said it is a trial and not a single police station in Pakistan will be ready to file it that’s why I am presenting before you. The title of his trial was “Pakistan Abduction”, he said some people have been kidnaped Pakistan. I am looking forward all of you too look at where is our Pakistan.

At the end of session 141th birthday of Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah celebrated with the national songs of Pakistan and a ceremony of cake cutting held at arts council. The cake was filled with the flag of Pakistan.
