The foundation of the International Urdu Conference (Aalmi Urdu Conference) is celebrating the 10th glorious year of Urdu literature, poetry, prose and plays at the Arts Council of Pakistan. The conference gives the people of Karachi an opportunity to be a part of amazing activities and events that are designed to celebrate our national language. The conference will be attended by renowned names of Urdu literature.

> The proceedings of Day-2 of the 10th International Urdu Conference 2017 started on 22nd December with the session of “Hamd-o-Naat” presided by the poet Iftikhar Arif.

> Second session of the day-2 at the 10th International Urdu Conference 2017 was entitled “Literature for Children”.

> Third session of the day-2 at the 10th International Urdu Conference 2017 was titled “Our Literally & Social Perspective and the Role of Women”.  

> Fourth session of the day-2 at the 10th International Urdu Conference 2017 was titled “Urdu Poetry – A Literally Perspective”.

> Fifth session of the day-2 at the 10th International Urdu Conference 2017 was titled “The Evolution of Painting in Pakistan”.

> Sixth session of the day-2 at the 10th International Urdu Conference 2017 was titled “Books Launch Ceremony”. The authors who unvield their books included  Mehmood Shaam, Shakeel Adil Zada, Mujahid Barelvi, and Aqeel Abbas Jafferi. The session was hosted by Rizwan Zaidi. 

> Yorkshire Literature Forum Award Ceremony : Hosted by Ghazal Ansari. It was conducted to acknowledge the contribution of Zahida Hina and Mazhar Javed Hasan in this context.

Day 2 of the 10th International Urdu Conference 2017 concluded with dance performances by 3 of the most celebrated and renowned dancers of the country Sheema Kermani, NIghat Chaudhary and Mani Chao.
