The Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi’s Press and Publication Committee was organized a Women Self-Security Training (WSST) on October 18 at Gulrang hall of the council. According to Coordinator for the Training Programme Farah Tabassum, the aim of the training is to inform and equip women journalists with the tactics of self-defense. She said that in the recent days it has been observed that the woman are prone to violent attacks in the city and sometimes are robbed as well snatched on roads and malls. The training designed for female journalists to protect them from such happenings.
