Sindh Theater Festival 2017, last play “Sherry”

Sindh Theater Festival 2017 was a triumphant event and a well received and appreciated effort by Arts Council of Pakistan. The festival saw an amazing footfall of people from Karachi who genuinely love and admire art and quality entertainment. The last play of the festival was “Sherry”, written and directed by Anwer Jafri, was played on 30th April 2017. The play witnessed a houseful auditorium yet again who were engrossed and entertained by the proceedings of the play. At the conclusion, all the directors whose plays featured in the festival were awarded with shields. Culture Minister of Sindh was the chief guest for the event. President of ACP Ahmed Shah was also present. He thanked Karachi and its people for an overwhelming response. He said ACP will continue to design events and festivals that will be liked and appreciated by the people of our city.
