Sindh Theater Festival, Sindhi Language Play ‘Bali’

Sindh Theater Festival enters its second week at Arts Council and the love and encouragement seems to multiply with every passing day. The people of Karachi got to see the play Baali on 24th  April 2017. This Faheem Yahya directorial is written by Ibrahim Karal who is a renowned author and one of the most acclaimed storytellers of Sindh. The play tells the story of Mir Ali Nawaz who falls head over heels in love with Baali Begum after meeting her at an event. Do they end up together? Does their story have a happy ending or it is doomed from the word go? That’s what the play is about. The play has elements of love that invites madness and a bad heart that results in deceit and treachery. The play was appreciated for acting and the engaging screenplay.
