Arts Council of Pakistan paid tribute to yesteryear film star Shabnam in a ceremony under supervision of President Ahmed Shah to honor her career. The event was held on 17th April 2017 and organized in association with Arts Council Special Events Committee and Pakistan Film and TV Journalist Association. The tribute ceremony was a one of its kind event which the fans of the film star will remember for a long time. The ceremony honored her body of work spanning four decades and her outstanding contribution to the film industry. The event was attended by all the film stars, directors and technicians who have worked with her and current actors and stars who were present to honor and acknowledge her talent and her illustrious career.
