Ceremony to remember life of Fatima Surayya Bajia

Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi

On 9th February, 2017, Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi held a ceremony to honor and remember the immaculate and amazing personality and the exemplary life of the Late Fatima Surayya Bajia. The ceremony was held as a tribute to her life and her immense contribution to arts, culture and storytelling. Mr. Ahmed Shah talked about how she believed in the cleanliness of places and surroundings and the vices that pollute our society. He mentioned how she has worked tirelessly for TV and theater. She worked as the secretary of Arts Council and kept working tirelessly as a member of the governing body. At the conclusion of the event, Mr Ahmed Shah and Mr. Anwer Maqsood announced the new theater auditorium will be named after Bajia as a tribute to her life.
